The Bartender is a great position in the Magnolia Hotel. The Bartender will greet and talk with multitudes of guests, set a friendly welcoming tone for our Harry’s Restaurant, and provide professional bar service.
The Bartender at the Magnolia Denver must be passionate about the service industry, connecting with guests and creating memorable experiences.
We are looking for an individual that is genuine and intuitive when it comes to service.
Some of duties and responsibilities of the Bartender position include:
Apply TIPS or TABC alcohol awareness techniques. When in doubt ID for age, and follow TIPS or TABC training on consumption awareness. Do side work for bar as assigned per shift including stocking of supplies. Have fun, make $$$ and make the guests happy!

Always greet the guest with a smile and a greeting. We are professionals at our jobs and shall behave as such. Guest service is every employee’s first job. We will look our best as a sign of service and respect to the guests.
Some desired qualifications of the Bartender position include:
Previous bartending experience in a full-service upscale lounge/club. Professionally interact with a broad cross-section of guests. Broad knowledge, including brand knowledge, of liquors, spirits, beer and wine. Previous experience with restaurant or lounge point of sale systems. Willing to follow portion pour procedures for all beverages served
There are some minimum requirements to being a Bartender that include:
Have valid TIPS or TABC certification. Must be of legal age to pour, mix, and serve alcoholic beverages in the State in which the hotel does business. Physically able to change out 15 gallon beer kegs.
